Attorney Profile

The firm’s managing partner is Bradley Shear.  He is an internationally respected attorney, consultant, speaker, and author. He is the first private practice lawyer in the United States to work with a state government (State of Maryland) to draft social media election and social media privacy law.  His blog, Shear on Social Media Law is the first blog to focus on social media law and public policy issues. Bradley’s work has been quoted extensively in scholarly journals, law review articles, commercial books,  government reports, and by almost every major news organization in the world.  He has testified numerous times in front of state legislatures and administrative agencies around the country on social media, privacy, sports, and related public policy matters and he advises state and federal lawmakers on these issues.  In addition, he also serves as an adjunct professor at The George Washington University. 

Bradley’s professional experience includes working for the National Football League Players Association, Players, Inc., JPMorgan Chase, and an entertainment start up company. He counsels multi-national corporations, non-profit organizations, athletes (amateur and professional), sports leagues and franchises, NCAA member institutions, start-ups, governments, lawmakers, etc…regarding technology, privacy, and sports matters in the private and public sectors.
